Cost analysis of solar energy development in the world and its significance for Russia

This paper investigates the dynamics of development in the growing solar energy sector and studies such properties of it as the effect of scale and learning effects. The results of the research can be used in order to forecast the development of solar energy in Russia under the goals outlined in the Energy Strategy of Russia for the period up to 2030.
