The article is devoted to the problem of evaluation of the role and place of entrepreneurs in the modern national economies. Present the comparative analysis of relation of people to entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial activity and entrepreneurial aspirations on ten of the most economically developed countries. Consider average values fourteen specific indicators related to entrepreneurship according to monitoring data for 2007–2013 years. Discuss the methodology and present the results of the rating evaluation of entrepreneurial intentions and the achieved level of entrepreneurial activity.
