In the paper the relevance of competition study in the market of mortgage housing crediting in Russia is justified and the possible uses of the analysis results are shown, features of competition in the mentioned market are revealed, the procedure of analysis is described, assessments of the current competitive situation and conclusions about its trends and the competitive behavior of market participants are done.
