The article considers the problems of innovative development of the industrial enterprises of the Central federal district of the Russian Federation. The assessment of the main indicators of innovative activity of the enterprises of the industry Russia's central federal district is made for 2005-2010. The perspective directions of further innovative development of the industry in the region are formulated and proved.
