The analysis of an energy potential of region is carried out in this article. The data on generating capacities and the data on renewable and traditional energy sources in region are resulted. The factors defining necessity of using small power in region, and also the factors influencing on power efficiency and power safety of region are revealed. Conditions of an effective use of potential of energy sources are resulted.
