This article examines the mechanisms of development of intellectual capital in industry, revealed problems of man¬agement of intellectual assets to Russian companies, and examines the main trends of the knowledge society and new economy. The author discovers the advantages of clusters as a form of functioning of innovation networks and justifies the use of cluster mechanism of intellectual capital in industry.
