In the article there have been considered the basic tools of regional industrial policy used in the 14 regions of the Ural and Privolzhsky Federal Districts during the acute phase of the global financial and economic crisis (2008-2010). The author analyzes makeup, structure, directions and areas as well as complexity and branch-wise aspects of regional state support for industrial activities. The author draws conclusions of efficiency of crisis industrial policy on the regional level.
