The article considers approaches to the definition of global (international) competitiveness of the country, the factors of its formation. Based on the analysis of rating positions of the Republic of Tajikistan in the major international organizations and research on the various components of the country's competitiveness in the global background of the comparative advantages of the national economy of the country.
