In the article the economic aspect of occurrence of the rent is considered, the differentiations are spent and the general properties and distinctive features of the natural rent and not natural rent are revealed. The status rent as a version of not natural rent is allocated; the economic gain from acquisition of the status rent in noncommercial sector of economy is analysed.
