It is shown that use of potential of a branch science with a view of acceleration of modernisation of metallurgical manufacture is expedient in various forms: from local scientific and technical workings out on perfection of operating technologies before the large research works financed on principles of state-private partnership. Main principles and methods of definition of economy of interaction of the industrial enterprises with the scientific organisations, based on necessity of the account of the generated monetary inflow during life cycle of use of innovations and possible risks of non receipt of settlement effect in comparison with predicted level are proved.
