        <p>In this article the social capital as the university's crucial contribution to the innovative development of the region is considered. The university's social capital formation for the region's innovative development should be realized through the conversation place making, the innovation networks development, innovative culture popularization. Recommendations are given for university's business incubators to provide spin-offs with social capital, which is crucial for their survival.</p>
