Abstract:

The article dwells on the identification of scenario conditions and the elaboration of scenarios for the long-term development in the industrial sector of the Arctic region. It proves the expediency of developing only innovative scenarios. It also provides guidance regarding the large-scale use of the scenario approach for identifying the long-term prospects for the industrial development in the Russian Arctic.
