The current state and problems of agricultural sector enterprises are considered. The proof of the necessity of using innovations for technological potential of agricultural sector improvement is given. The classification of innovations types is presented. Measures to provide the country's food security are stated. Effects of innovational development of agricultural sector are analysed.
