Organizational and methodological aspects of an automated management information system implementation

The questions of automated management information system projects realization at organizations and universities are being studied in the article. The statistical data about information and communication technologies (ICT) usage in Russian institutes of higher education is given. The author provides a list of necessary conditions for ICT successful implementation at universities and describes a method for efficiency estimation of investments into an automated management information system.
