The main objectives are: substantiation of SEI selection; the evaluation choice and the relationship between SEI absolute values, chain and base indexes; forecasting methods selection; SEI forecast result. According to the research, the financial forecast for St. Petersburg up to 2030 year was obtained and recommendations for achieving this result in SEI financial forecasting were proposed.
