This article observes the possibility of applying factoring as an important tool of outsourcing for efficiency improvement of commercial banks. The analysis of the advantages of factoring is also included. The data on the amount of factoring transactions in the Russian Federation shows the positive trend if its implementation. Authors propose the use of factoring in the realization of the state orders.
