Methodical basics of the logistic outsourcing are covered. Schemes of the material and information flows in the case of different persons responsible for the transportation are offered. Tasks of determination of the minimum cost and the minimum time of transportation depending on a chosen route, a type of transportation and a container type are developed. Using specific examples, the influence of the chosen method of transportation to the final cost and the duration of transportation are considered.
