The article considers the problems of the development and coordination of project documentation on construction of the energy facility on the territory of big cities. An approach is proposed, which reduces the duration of the project as a whole and the growth of additional costs for the engineering companies in the transfer of non-core sections of the design documentation for outsourcing.
