The article deals with current issues of innovation development of modern enterprises and the importance of innovation as a combination of technical, economic, organizational and social changes in production processes. The analysis of the emergence of innovation and motivation of their species in the modern economy. The findings show that innovation requires regulation by the state to succeed.
