The article formulates a purpose of effectiveness of IPO advantages to the other investment sources. Authors introduced an explanation of the term IPO. In the article it is made a brief analysis of IPO appliance in the world practice, stated it's purposes and influence for investment attraction. By the results of the research authors revealed effectiveness of IPO perspectives for the countries with transit economies: Russia, Kazakhstan, India, China, Brazil and Turkey.
