This article examines the technique for forming the strategy of innovative development of an enterprise based on the analysis of the external environment, investigation of innovative activity and evaluation of the innovative potential. Main factors impeding the innovative activity of enterprises have been identified. A procedure for evaluating the enterprises innovative potential has been suggested.
