In the article the features of power industry of the isolated regions are considered on the example of Republic of Komi. Information is presented about the technical state of generating powers of Republic. Factors, determining absence of competition market of electricity and heat energy, are formulated, the possible ways of increase of reliability of energy supply of users are certain at creations
